FINALE
Extra credit points for the final blog? Why the hell not.The class was quite enjoyable. It's too bad we have only a short amount of time. It was a pleasure to meet you and those fellow classmates. I'm sure you did all you could to make us associate with one another. As I recall, I haven't had a boring day in your class. That is part of the reason I always showed up for class. All the activities (that didn't include writing) were fun, especially the coffee and donuts!. LOL. It seemed like only yesterday when I walked into the classroom. I'm glad you are cutting us a break from extra work, like these blogs. Not to be sentimental, but I do appreciate all the effort you put in.

Harsh Reality
Yea this book lives up to its name alright. Every detail of harsh treatment in boot camp is mentioned here. The teen Garret is treated worse than a mental patient. There are new characters such as: the overseer named Joe, guards named Ron and Jon, also a bully called Adam. Garret has a positive attitude and it reminds me of myself. He folds under pressure, but won't let it show. So far, he's been beaten and humiliated. Truly, boot camp is 98% like a prison. Eat at a specific time. Do drills. No remorse if you suffer. The job of boot camp is to break down your pride and make you into what they decide. No one is mistreated except Garret and a few other newcomers. To me Joe is a hard-case with no sympathy for newcomers. None. Adam is is a constant nag, who picks on others. I despise that type of a person. Joe is head of the "clan" but just as worse as the kids in the place. Ron and Jon are wannabe's, who are pawns doing what they're told. They share little guilt for what they do to people. What is more faker than a phony? That's who they are to me. I like this book. I feel no regret for buying this book

Boot Camp
This story boot camp seem like it's based on true facts. The very setting takes place where the boy is already kidnapped. To my surprise the boy seem calm and doesn't panic. I doubt if the boy is tough enough to endure the camp. The kidnappers keep a cool demeanor as well. Perhaps this isn't based on true facts, because no one could be that calm. I haven't went deep into the story yet and Garret isn't at boot camp yet. Nevertheless, I'm sure it won't be a pleasant time for the boy. In the 2nd chapter, Garret is taken to 2 more nappers and they are harsher than the first 2. They take him to a secluded region where there is mostly forest. There is no luck in running away because civilization was miles away.t was true that Garret's parents sent him to these roughnecks. If it were me,I would not have let them snatch me out the house. No way in hell would I be taken in that easily. If so, then I would be mighty surprised at how the nappers keep a modest attitude. I'll keep an update on more.

New Novel Blog
I stayed in range of the price limits on my books. This book looks interesting and I always heard tales of boot camp. The main character is Garret who is forced out of his home and taken to Lake Harmony. A mysterious woman kidnaps him and gets handcuffed and thrown in the backseat of a car. The driver wears a cowboy hat and communes with Garret but doesn't tell him why he has been kidnapped. On the first few pages of the book it tells us they were driving to the airport. Also, further info tells us they were headed to upstate New York. The two nappers were surnamed Harry and Rebecca. They're not violent nor tempermental. It is a conundrum to whether Garret's parents were involved but asking didn't help much. Garret is the narrator and the discusssion with Rebercca and Harry mention Garret's parents paying 4,000 a month to have their son kidnapped and sent to upstate. Why? that isn't told just yet. nevertheless it is worth finding out. In Lake Harmony he was placed in a boot camp. He suffers harsh treatment that shall remain nameless until further notice. Garret still ponders why and how he ended up in the place. The story gets deeper in the process. If I were in the Narrator's shoes there would be total confusion and disbelief. The fact that your parents could be involved with you getting snatched out of your own home, it is unthinkable. I would have put up a fight and at least try to run away. They did not tell us Garret put up a struggle in the story. Or maybe not just yet. My question is why are the nappers not ill-tempered and hostile. They seem like rookies and pawns doing what they are paid to do. Nothing more. These were from only 2 pages.

Narnia: Last Battle
Guided Response: The book Narnia: the last battle is the final book made by Chris Van Allsburg. This tale tells of a magical land where there is creatures with human characteristics. Nothing could be more mythical than this. Before all fall into place. King Tirian was foretold by a centaur called Roonwit about impending disaster. The centaur studies the stars and interprets them. "There would be no coming of Aslan the Great nor of peace or joy ." "Behold the stars never lie but men and beasts do." In my opinion I believe man lie but I know nothing of stars. Furthermore there is a wise ape named Shift and a donkey named Puzzle. Puzzle is always doing whatever Shift says because donkeys aren't so smart. He may not be so bright but he has a sense of discernment. The ape is old, wise but mischievous and cons Puzzle into posing as the savior of the land. The savior is a lion known as the Great Aslan, but he is not present just yet. Many are deceived by the pseudo Aslan and follow his every command. Much havoc and disorder is brought forth and the land is in unrest.King Tirian rules the land but is soon caught up in the catastrophic mess. He may be king, but he has lesser power than Aslan. Very few has seen through the lies but all are deceived by Shift and Puzzle.Tirian was subverted as king though he was the only force against the false Aslan's tyranny. The king was abducted and tied to a tree left to die, while Shift and Puzzle continue with their false peace. Children from another dimension come to the aid of the king. The two are Eustace and Jill who have been to Narnia previous times before. With additional help, the king devised a plan to to turn back what has happened. Even with a few allies, King Tirian knows the chance to save Narnia is slim. In my own words we know fairy tale stories meet a good end.The main Characters are honorable and from the way I see it they're daredevils. Each one has their own ability, and once you read it you feel like you're in their shoes. All the events that take place in Narnia has a mixture of fiction and non-fiction actions.

The book is Adventures of Tom Sawyer and his rambunctious nature leads him to make a fatal choice to do what he thinks is right or do what he knows is right. All his behavior speaks for himself but one choice could change a person's whole perspective. We all have a choice that truly test the depths of ourselves. This is something anyone can relate to and meditate on so that's why I like it.

Keith
My looks may be deceiving, I may wear the nice clothes and nice smile but I'm not full of myself. Half the time I am laid back and mellow. The other half of the time I am a jokester and like to make others smiles. No, I'm not childish I'm just a happy camper. LOL. I don't see a reason to have a tough or angry expression. I'm actually a nice guy once you get used to me.
